Cyber Storm II National Cyber Exercise
Kine Graffiti commissioned by Attorney General’s Department to shoot pool vision of Cyber Storm II National Cyber Exercise

In March 2008, the US Department of Homeland Security’s National Cyber Security Division (NCSD) will sponsored its second large-scale national cyber exercise, Cyber Storm II. Planned in close coordination with and driven by its stakeholders and participants, the exercise will center on a cyber-focused scenario that will escalate to the level of a cyber incident requiring a coordinated Federal and response.
Exercises such as Cyber Storm II are critical in maintaining and strengthening cross-sector, inter-governmental and international relationships, enhancing processes and communications linkages, as well as ensuring continued improvement to cyber security procedures and processes. Cyber Storm II is an ongoing risk-based management effort to use exercises to enhance government and private sector response to a cyber incident, promote public awareness, and reduce cyber risk within all levels of government and the private sector.
The goal of Cyber Storm II is to examine the processes, procedures, tools, and organizational response to a multi-sector coordinated attack through, and on, the global cyber infrastructure.
Participation in Cyber Storm II includes Federal, State, local, and international governments,
including the US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. In addition, private sector players from the Information Technology (IT), Transportation (Rail and Pipe), and Chemical
sectors along with multiple Information Sharing and Analysis Centers (ISACs) are scheduled to
participate.

‘Getting Connected 2′… and beyond. City West Water and Kine Graffiti

Following the outstanding success of ‘Getting Connected’ - the recycled water plumbing video Kine Graffiti produced for South East Water - City West Water has commissioned us to produce its own version of this tried and trusted original. Aside from some minor differences in procedures and installation processes, most water companies tackle the dual supply of fresh and recycled water in a very similar way, so re-versioning the South East Water original has proved a cost effective option for City West Water.
With the rapidly growing uptake of domestic and commercial recycled water and the need to ensure that every plumber installing dual fresh and recycled supplies is fully trained in the procedures required to avoid cross connection, we’re expecting ‘Getting Connected’ to appear under a widening variety of water company logos in Australia and maybe overseas as well!

Australian Training Awards 2007
Kine Graffiti and the 2007 Australian Training Awards
Written on Monday, October 29th, 2007 by kinegraffiti :: 0 comments to this post
Creating a series of videos by animating over 230 photographs of 58 finalists in the 2007 Australian Training Awards, (a federal government Department of Education, Science and Training initiative) took some doing. And on the night of the 8th of November, all the hard work was broadcast on four huge screens at Hobart’s Grand Chancellor Hotel, with the videos we produced being described by many of the 800 guests as “spectacular!” and the whole awards presentation as one of the best ever!
Overall, a brilliant night for everyone and congratulations to all the winners and finalists and many thanks to all the organizers and technical crews that made the event run so smoothly.

Kine Graffiti, Native Title and the Federal Court of Australia
Kine Graffiti to archive and produce training videos based on important Native Title cases for the Federal Court of Australia.
Written on Monday, October 29th, 2007 by kinegraffiti :: 0 comments to this post
Red dust and legal gowns aren’t commonly associated in most people’s minds but when the Federal Court goes ‘on country’, to adjudicate cases of native title, the gowns can hover just above the dust for days at a time.
In cases involving remote communities, it’s not unusual for the court to convene in a dry creek bed, under the shade of a clump of trees. And though ties and wigs are notably absent, the gowns remain to symbolize the importance of the case and the rigour of the proceedings.
Kine Graffiti has produced a number of documentary programs dealing with the work of the Federal Court of Australia and just recently, completed a series of training videos for lawyers and witnesses - with judges still to come - who, at some time, might be involved in native title cases.

Written on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007 by kinegraffiti :: 0 comments to this post
Canadian documentary makers Cineflix Productions have commissioned Kine Graffiti to film an interview with an ex-Branch Davinian member and Waco massacre survivor for their upcoming series Final 24.
Final 24 is a compelling documentary series unlocking the hidden secrets, psychological flaws and events that result in the tragic deaths of famed notorious and the iconic. Every episode maps out the final 24 hours of a different famous person’s life. The series weaves the star’s back-story with events from their last day, which lays bare the threads of fate that led inextricably from childhood to the moment of death. These are no ordinary biographies. They’re psychological detective stories attempting to uncover the mystery of why the celebrity died.
Produced in association with Global (Canada), The Biography Channel (US), FOX International (UK), SKY (UK) and Discovery Networks (Europe).

BlueScope Steel ‘Our Recovery Our Spirit Our Future’ video
Written on Thursday, November 9th, 2006 by Kine Graffiti :: 1 comments to this post
‘The best laid plans of mice and men oft gang awar’ an adage that was comprehensively demonstrated when fire turned the mass of switch gear and cabling directing power to BlueScope’s Western Port hot steel rolling mill into a charred, molten mass.
Fortunately no one was injured in the accident but the damage was so extensive that the other mill - the one that produces rumors - was soon up and running at full capacity, suggesting that the entire Westernport operation might be shut down with the loss of around 1,400 jobs.
